History
CrossWay Church began with Friday morning prayer for six months with Pastor Pat Summers, his wife, Pam, and two other families. This prayer led to knocking on doors in the area, meeting people, and sharing their vision with people who did not regularly attend a church. In 1996, CrossWay began meeting in a house in Cranberry for a Bible study that included a steady attendance of thirty. In November, 1996, they began meeting for Sunday weekly services at Marshall Middle school with an average attendance of 30-40. After one year, CrossWay was steadily outgrowing their space and moved to the Haynes school where they enjoyed growth to about 90 people. During the two years they worshipped at Haynes, Pastor Pat began to hear the voice of God calling them to the 228 corridor, placing them in the heart of the Middlesex, Adams, Valencia, and Mars areas. So, they made the move to Mars High School on Route 228. Through a miracle of miracles, in 2000, CrossWay purchased the current location.
