Consumer Direct Sports Supplies began their retail sporting goods business in Slippery Rock, PA in 1991. They specialized in purchasing premium manufacturer overstocks, closeouts, and discontinued products at discounted pricing, and then passing the savings onto their customers. Over the past 20 years, CDS sports has moved and expanded multiple times, and now resides in an 8500 square foot retail store located beside the Grove City Prime Outlets. Although the business has grown tremendously over this time, the basic principles have remained the same: to offer their customers a wide selection of premium out door and work products at extremely competitive or discounted prices. CDS Sports has become a more mainstream sporting goods retailer, but still leverages off opportunity buys and closeouts in order to pass the greatest pricing onto their customers.
