Do you remember when the mid 1960 s music was on the move and the growing rock revolution needed to explode with new musical styles? On this premise, Community Professional Loudspeakers started producing mobile and lightweight systems that were able to reproduce the depth and complexity of the music with absolute impact and clarity. Over the years, Community developed ways to test and document the spherical propagation characteristics of all loudspeakers; publish the coverage patterns of its loudspeakers; and introduced the industry's first electro-acoustic modeling software. The natural sound characteristics of its glass fiber composites, coupled with the company s precisely formed shapes, produced an articulate, detailed sound with increased projection. One of Community's most unique and influential products was the M4, which brought clarity and intimate sounds to vocals. Community manufactures most of its components and cabinetry in its modern 100,000 square foot Chester, Penn., facility near Philadelphia.
