He often waives the fee for senior citizens and servicemen, noting that their service to the community is payment enough. Sabach has come to establish personal relationships with many of these customers, and you can often find policemen and firemen spending their lunch shift with him in the back of his store. Because of his closeness to the patrons, he is very firm about the employees maintaining a professional atmosphere; he noted that if you work for him, he expects you to treat every customer like you would treat your mother.
