The Church of the Nativity is on the list of the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation. The church is in what was once an apple orchard, a pie-shaped piece of land between Alice Street and Noble Avenue that was originally owned by Charles C. Craft, the founder of Crafton. The church and its craft hall boast a massive collection of artifacts, including a pipe organ given to the church in 1911 by Andrew Carnegie. Several of Craft's descendants are parishioners.
