Child Guidance Resource Center, founded in 1956, is a private nonprofit community behavioral healthcare organization, offering care and educational services to children, youth and their families in the Tri-StateArea. Child Guidance Resource Center, headquartered in Havertown, Pa., and serves more than 3,000 children and families through over 25 different programs in various locations. It is registered with the Pennsylvania Bureau of Charitable Organizations, licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The center offers various programs and services, such as administrative case management, clinical child welfare, extended assessment, behavioral health rehabilitation, detention center mental health and elementary special education services. It also offers a full range of programs, including teen care, substance abuse, autism, after-school and child screening programs.
