Victor E Greco, MD
Dr. Greco is an orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery. He offers comprehensive orthopaedic care for the upper extremity, including hand, elbow, and shoulder procedures. He has clinical proficiency in hand procedures such as carpal tunnel, trigger finger, arthritis, joint replacement, peripheral nerve injuries, tendon-ligament injuries, as well as management of fractures. A native of Wheeling, West Virginia, Dr. Greco earned his undergraduate degree at West Virginia University with a bachelor’s in science in Biochemistry. After graduating suma cum laude, he continued his education at West Virginia University School of Medicine. He completed his residency with Allegheny Health Network (AHN) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Greco went on to complete additional training with a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, North Carolina under the mentorship of Drs. Andy Koman and Zhongyu Li. Dr. Greco has presented research across the U.S. and internationally. He is a published author in multiple medical journals, as well as two book chapters on hand and elbow injuries. As an attending surgeon with AHN, he is currently involved with academic research and education of residents and fellows. Dr. Greco lives in the Greater Pittsburgh area with his wife, Sallie, son, Victor Anthony, and their beagle, Taco. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, biking, as well as Pittsburgh professional sports and West Virginia University athletics.
