History
Burdicks has been part of downtown Grove City since 1922. Edward L. Burdick Sr. and Edward L. Burdick Jr. moved to Grove City from Ambridge, PA to start a wholesale newspaper business. They added a soda fountain and sold magazines. Eventually, probably during the Depression, Burdicks added the sale of men's clothing to the mix, and in the 1940's became solely men's wear. Tom Burdick joined the family business in 1970 and owns and manages the store today.
