History
In 2010, a small group of people got together and decided to bring flat track roller derby to Chester County. Brandywine Roller Girls was born! In 2013, BRG became a full WFTDA (Women's Flat Track Derby Association) member and debuted in Division 2 at #52. In 2014, BRG's charter roster, the Belligerents, went to D2 playoffs for the first time in Duluth, MN. In 2015, the Belligerents went to D2 playoffs for the second time in Cleveland, OH. In 2016, the name changed from Brandywine Roller Girls to Brandywine Roller Derby to be inclusive for all our members. BRD then took first place in D2 playoffs in Wichita, KS, went on to Champs in Portland, OR and took second place in all of D2!
