Venango College Of Clarion University
Founded in 1867, the Clarion University of Pennsylvania offers a range of certificate, graduate and undergraduate programs for students. Its academic curriculum includes classes in a variety of fields, such as science, mathematics, arts, business administration, human services, nursing and allied health. The university also administers various online programs in the areas of instructional technology, teacher certification, radiologic sciences, early childhood education, liberal studies, mass media and journalism. The Clarion University of Pennsylvania participates in a range of sports activities, including volleyball, baseball, basketball, football, golf, swimming, wrestling, cross country, and track and field. Additionally, it operates several libraries that provide books, articles, catalogs and databases, as well as online resources. The Clarion University of Pennsylvania is a member of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE), which is one of the largest providers of higher education in Pennsylvania.
