HistoryIn 1983, John Golem started JG Drywall Co. out of his home in Bethel Park, PA. He has become a brilliant businessman and always seems willing to take the risk. When he has seen a need in the residential building industry, he finds a way to fill it. Had he known the future he may not have chosen the name of JG Drywall because we don't just do drywall anymore! The business has grown substantially to include drywall, insulation, waterproofing, garage doors, ClosetPRO which includes closet installation, storage solutions, bath accessories and mirrors. This truly is a family business. John had 3 daughters, Lynne, Beth and Courtney, are now all in the business carving their own path within the business. It also says a lot that several of the people work at JG have been here over 20 years. We employ over 60 people, we have a fleet of 35+ vehicles, and work all over southwestern PA with many of the local home builders and custom home builders that you are all familiar with.SpecialtiesOur custom closet division, ClosetPRO, is excellent in listening to our customers needs when we design a custom storage space, whether you are looking for your dream master closet, a solution to maximize storage, or want to create an entire room to a playroom, craft room, or pantry. It truly is customized to our customer and we provide options for them to review and work together to make it perfect. We also have temporary storage racks for customers to store their clothes while we are installing their new custom closet! We have several other divisions as well that primarily work with new residential construction. Our drywall, insulation, waterproofing and garage door division work with several builders in the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. Building your own home, we can work with you as well.
