Children's Crisis Treatment
Established in 1971 and located in Philadelphia, Children s Crisis Treatment Center offers mental health services to children in Philadelphia. Its services address the effects of abuse, neglect, traumatic events, and various challenges to early childhood development, and assist children in reaching their full potential within their homes, community and society. The center offers various programs and services, including trauma assistance, sexual trauma treatment, family support and education, and West African Refugee Assistance programs, outpatient services, intensive case management, summer therapeutic camps, and school-based behavioral health services. It also offers psychological and psychiatric evaluations, individual treatment planning and multidisciplinary reviews, developmentally child-centered therapeutic activities, individual therapies, speech and language services, medication and case management, and nursing services.
