Founded in 1948 as a campus-limited AM radio station at the Temple University, WRTI-FM creates and distributes classical music and jazz programming that entertains and educates audiences. The station s programs include Jazz through the Night, Jazz with Bob Perkins, The Historical Approach to the Positive Music, Straight Ahead and Sunday Afternoon Concert. The radio station offers memberships to an online club, as well as publishes a monthly newsletter. The station airs programs that have featured various renowned celebrities, such as Colin Powell, Henry Kissinger, Walter Cronkite, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Christiane Amanpour, Robert Ballard and James Lovell. WRTI-FM operates out of Philadelphia.
