The Willamette Falls Locks, originally opened in 1873, are a historic lock system located on the Willamette River in West Linn, Oregon. Closed since 2011, the locks are currently undergoing repairs and are expected to reopen in 2026.
Operated by the United States Army Corps of Engineers, the locks served both commercial and recreational vessels, providing passage beyond Willamette Falls and the T.W. Sullivan Dam. Designated as a National Historic Landmark, the locks feature four chambers with seven gates, capable of lifting boats up to 50 feet in elevation change.
