HistoryKristina Fetterman started Core Dance as technique only classes for students involved in dance team looking to improve their dance skills. The classes took place once a week at the Tigard Grange Hall. Eventually, Core Dance evolved to a full time studio in 2013 landing in it's current location in Tualatin. The studio still offers it's original drop-in technique classes to cater to dance team students, but also offers a full schedule of classes for all ages.SpecialtiesCore Dance offers quality dance training with a strong emphasis on technique to provide dancers a foundation in dance to help them achieve their individual goals. Classes are meant to be welcoming, but challenging to all dancers regardless of age or ability. We offer classes for beginning through advanced dancers, ages 3-18 in ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, tumbling and hip-hop to dancers in Tualatin and the surrounding areas. Core Dance is also home to Synergy Too a dance team experience for K-5th youth in the Tigard-Tualatin area. It is a sister program to the Synergy Middle School Dance Team.
