Joseph comes from an athletic background and has a lot of experience creating his own workouts because he was never able to get the type of attention or output he wanted. After some consideration, he decided he wanted to open up his own gym. He educated himself in business management and some more training and together with his wife, Mary, they opened up ChalkBox Training with aim of offering a personalized approach to training.

We'll teach you proper techniques for fundamental movements, and we'll write out a customized workout plan for you to follow, designed to maximize your results. Your individual training will build your mental and physical strength, and once you master the fundamentals, you'll graduate and join group classes where encouragement and camaraderie await. Our coaches will check in with you monthly to make sure you're meeting your goals and growing over time to achieve a healthy lifestyle. And holistic training means we emphasize total mental, physical, and dietary health, developing nutritional plans designed to help you be your very best self.
