HistoryAllan Kalik Trumpet Studios was established in Miami, Florida in 1981 and moved to Oregon in 1994. Since moving to Oregon Allan has taught at dozens of local middle and high schools including Rosemont Ridge, Ogden and Whitford Middle schools and Southridge, Beaverton and Oregon City High schools. Allan's students have placed in DIstrict, All State, All Northwest and WIBC (Western International Band Clinic) Honor Bands and many have gone on to become professional musicians and educators.SpecialtiesI teach trumpet, French horn, baritone, euphonium and beginning baritone. While trumpet is my primary instrument, I enjoy teaching the other brass instruments as well. I teach the elementary to advanced: all styles including jazz as well as music theory.
