Karen Bos, MD, MPH is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, School of Medicine in Portland, OR. With expertise in psychiatry, specifically pediatric psychiatry, Dr. Bos focuses on community psychiatry, access to care, trauma and early adversity, and working with youth in the foster care system. She is also involved in resident education and serves as a consulting psychiatrist to the Oregon Psychiatric Access Line for Kids (OPAL-K).
Dr. Bos completed her medical education at Harvard Medical School and obtained her Master of Public Health (MPH) from Harvard School of Public Health. She has extensive training in child and adolescent psychiatry, having completed her fellowship at the University of California San Francisco. Prior to joining OHSU, she worked as a child psychiatrist for the City and County of San Francisco Department of Public Health.
