Established in 1969, Hillsboro High School is a coeducational college preparatory high school offering various academic and extracurricular programs to students in grades nine through 12. It provides various educational programs, such as professional technical education programs, International Baccalaureate and advanced placement programs. It also provides honors programs in various subjects, including English, fine arts, social studies, foreign languages, science, mathematics and business education. Additionally, it offers certificates of advanced mastery in various subjects, such as architecture, natural resources, automotive services technology, early childhood education, horticulture, music, theater, electronics, sports medicine and fitness technology, and language, fine and visual arts. The athletic programs of the school include softball, football, wrestling, skiing, tennis, volleyball, baseball and golf. It also offers various clubs and organizations, such as an art association, assembly council, choir council, freshman senate, equestrian, Hispanos Unidos, fire science, Japanese and French Clubs. Located in Hillsboro, Ore., it is a part of the Hillsboro school District.
