Handyman Connection began in Portland in 1997 but was originally started in Cincinnati, OH in 1991. Cincinnati is the site of the first office and continues as the location of the corporate headquarters. Handyman Connection originally started with retired craftsmen performing small repairs in customers homes. Before long, the need to expand beyond retired contractors and handymen became necessary. Soon, there were franchises spreading across the US and Canada as there was no other business like it at the time. At present, there are over 100 Handyman Connection operations across North America and we continue to Connect customers with skilled craftsmen for all their home improvement needs
