Founded in 1987, the F.C. Portland Academy is a nonprofit soccer club that offers training sessions for members and individual players. The academy manages development programs that provide participation opportunities in local tournaments and outdoor leagues. It operates a junior academy program that serves boys and girls. The F.C. Portland Academy also offers a selection of merchandise that includes classic socks, jerseys, jackets, shorts and pants. The academy manages a competitive division program that forms teams for competitive leagues. In addition, it operates two training facilities. The F.C. Portland Academy provides options to participate in summer programs and winter college showcases.
