Elkton Map
Elkton is a city in Douglas County, Oregon, United States. It is located on the lower Umpqua River, at the junction of Oregon Route 38 and Oregon Route 138, about 20 miles (32 km) west of Interstate 5 and about 14 miles (23 km) west of Drain. The population was 147 at the 2000 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.2 square miles (0.5 km²), of which, 0.2 square miles (0.4 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (10.00%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 147 people, 72 households, and 45 families residing in the city. The population density was 842.4 people per square mile (333.9/km²). There were 82 housing units at an average density of 469.9 per square mile (186.2/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 94.56% White, 1.36% from other races, and 4.08% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.08% of the population.
