History
I have been in practice as an LMT since 1998, specializing in deep tissue massage and injury recovery. I was dedicated to learning as much as much as I could in helping the body heal from injuries. I trained in MFR, NMT, Structural integration work, and many other tools. In 2000, when an injury to my own spine failed resolution from my traditional therapies and modalities, I was forced to look elsewhere for relief. That search brought me to Ortho-Bionomy. Very quickly, I shifted my practice to the principle of addressing the body in a deeper, yet gentler fashion: through the reflexes and proprioception, via the nervous system. I also continue to study the energetic components that impact our physical, mental and emotional health. People that usually come to my work are having difficulty getting their pain resolved through traditional massage and chiropractic care, or they are getting relief, but the results don't stick for very long.
Specialties
Facilitating people out of their chronic or acute pain, without creating pain, is one of many striking distinctions to Ortho-Bionomy. Ortho-Bionomy and Cranial Sacral therapy are gentle, indirect approaches that treat the body in a comprehensive way. Both are rooted in Osteopathy where the structure governs the function of the body, and the fluids are paramount to optimal health. The founder of Ortho-Bionomy, Dr. Arthur Linclon Pauls, re-designed positional release in a fashion that is much gentler, quicker and more effective in helping people with
