History
Dog-Matic is a small local company: Andy and LaQueta (husband and wife) and Cheetoh (their cat). Andy grew up right here in Corvallis, where his dad worked until retirement as an OSU professor. Andy's family has been a part of Corvallis since the 1800's. Both of his parent's attended OSU, Andy's alma mater, before starting their family. 7 years ago Andy, LaQueta and Cheetoh moved into a house just a few blocks from his childhood home, so he and his wife could be available to help his parents. This last year, Andy, LaQueta, and their cat Cheetoh spent a year doing volunteer work in Central America. On returning home they decided to start a business allowing them to continue spending time together, while leaving a flexibility in their schedule for their extended family and volunteer activities. Because they love animals, the idea for Dog-Matic was a natural fit!
