Based in Portland, Ore., Columbia Grain is a grain exporter that exports more than 3 million tons of wheat and feed grains annually. Founded in 1978, the company provides a wide variety of bulk grains and pulses, including northern spring wheat, hard red winter wheat, soft white wheat, club wheat, durum wheat, corns, soybeans, feed and malting barley, oats and canola. It also provides various bagged products, such as Austrian winter peas, garbanzo beans, rapeseed, whole green peas, whole yellow peas and lentils. Columbia Grain is a subsidiary of Marubeni America Corporation, a general trading company that is headquartered in New York City and trades in a broad range of industrial, agricultural and consumer goods, commodities and natural resources.
