Dr. Travis earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University in 2001 by graduating with high honors. He then continued onto Oregon Health & Science University for his Doctor of Dental Medicine, also graduating with high honors in 2005. Beginning in dental school and continuing for 10 years after, Dr. Cochell has been involved in volunteer dental trips outside the United States for 2-week periods each year while maintaining a private practice with his wife, Dr. Christel Cochell, in Salem, Oregon. Following graduation, he has attended and continues to search for continuing education programs that enhance his skills and furthers his knowledge in dentistry. Two of those programs include the Seattle Study Club & the Synergy Training Program. Here, Dr. Cochell gained an intricate understanding of complex comprehensive dentistry, from tooth replacement with dental implants to full mouth reconstruction. Dr. Travis has been practicing alongside his wife at Cochell Family Dentistry for 12 years and remains committed to providing high quality care for families and individuals of all ages. Dr. Cochell is a member of the American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association, the Seattle Study Club, and the Marion Polk Dental Society. He is most passionate about the combination of art and science demanded by quality dentistry and enjoys helping patients receive comfortable, stress-free dentistry.
