History
The Clackamas County Historical Society was founded by residents of the Oregon City area to preserve the history of the county through collecting items donated by families who had lived and worked in the area since the mid 1800s.

Museum of the Oregon Territory Open Wednesday through Saturday 10:30 am to 4:30 pm $8 adults, $6 children 5-18 $20 Family special (2 Adults + 2 Children) Free for children under 5, CCHS members and active duty military and their families. The Museum of the Oregon Territory offers exhibits of artifacts from the history of Clackamas County. Artifacts from early geology, Native American habitation, 19th and 20th century American settlement and more. The Kaegi Pharmacy display provides an opportunity to step into an early 20th century neighborhood drug store. Exhibits include Steamboats of the Willamette, Clackamas County Biographies and Industries of Clackamas County. The Stevens Crawford Heritage House at 603 6th Street is the 1908 home of the Harley Stevens Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Crawford) Stevens. Their daughter, Mertie, lived in the home until her death in 1968, preserving the possessions of her grandparents who were all early Clackamas County pioneers.
