In November of 1958, Mike Stone founded B.T.N Of Oregon, which means best in the nation, or for the Stone sons, Ben, Tyler and Nathan. As Mike spent years involved in tree research and refining techniques of planting, growing and harvesting, his sons were learning the trades literally form the ground up. The company offers five tree species including Doug Fir, Fraser Fir, Grand Fir, Noble Fir and Conan Fir. Garland is also available and can be ordered in 75- or 15-foot that will fit around a door. BTN of Oregon is located in the green rolling hills of northwest Oregon, outside of Salem. Grass seed fields and fruit farms that surround the company and overlooking Salem. B.T.N grows trees up and down the Willamette Valley, but its offices are located 15 minutes outside of Salem, in the foothills of the Cascades.
