History
Bestow and Bloom was started in April of 2017. We began as a collaboration of plants and pottery, between ourselves and our friend Stephanie, who is a local potter. Once the business was running smoothly, Stephanie left the business to focus on her pottery. We showcase her pottery as well as many other local artists including potters, jewelry artists, print artists, and other thoughtful crafts. Over the past 2 years we have established an incredible plant community here in Southern Oregon by offering workshops, sharing and encouraging the art of caring for plants, bi annual free events such as plant swaps and transplanting days where we supply the venue, the soil and good tips on transplanting your root bound plants, and many other community building experiences.
Specialties
Bestow & Bloom is a specialty plant shop located in downtown Ashland, OR. We offer hand selected, high quality rare indoor and outdoor plants including succulents, cacti, tropical varieties, and Tillansia, or air plants. Additionally we showcase locally handcrafted pottery, jewelry, prints and cards, and thoughtfully curated home goods. We provide plant care consultation and education and host monthly workshops such as plant care, macrame, terrariums, and all things plants.
