History
Beargrass Bicycles started as a dream to create a serviced based bicycle shop after many years spent wrenching in other shops. In 2017 we purchased a van which we converted into a mobile bike shop. After a year of fixing bikes in the van we were able to lease a small space on 12th St. in Hood River. A year later, we expanded the shop into the adjacent store front. Two years after that we again found ourselves in need of more space to keep up with the increased amount of repair bikes and retail demand. In 2021 we moved the shop once again into a larger building on Tucker Road in Hood River. This new location has more than doubled our space and has allowed us to create a great retail environment as well as have a large and functional shop area to service bikes in.

We have the tools, skills, and experience needed to provide you with high-quality service work on your mountain, road, commuter, kids, or e-bike. We offer complete suspension rebuild services, frame bearing rebuilds, wheel building, new bike assembly, general maintenance and other services.
