Founded in 1910, the Ardmore Veterans Center is a part of the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs, which operates health care centers in various locations, including Claremore, Clinton, Lawton, Norman, Sulphur and Talihina, Okla. The center provides health care services to Civil War veterans. It offers nursing, domiciliary care, physical therapy and dietary services. The Ardmore Veterans Center features a kitchen, dining room and nursing wing. It is a 175-bed facility and is spread over an area of more than 50 acres. The Ardmore Veterans Center offers a variety of recreational and cultural activities, such as rodeos, pool, arts and crafts, and field and fishing trips. The center is located in Ardmore, Okla.
