The Probation and Parole Office, a part of the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, facilitates the prosocial adjustment of people under supervision to prevent further criminal behavior and to ensure successful compliance with the terms and conditions of probation as determined by the courts. It protects the public and offenders through effective utilization of a continuum of supervision strategies and interventions. Located in Tulsa, Okla., the office assesses and reviews all offenders on community supervision in accordance with the needs of the offenders. The Probation and Parole Office employs nonuniformed staff members responsible for the intake, custody and delivery of probation and parole services.
