The Oklahoma Department of Human Services offers a range of support services for adults, children, youths and families. It provides adoption assistance services, including financial assistance and medical support. The office also provides adult protective services, such as investigating reports of abuse, neglect and exploitation of vulnerable adults. In addition, the Oklahoma Department of Human Services supports children by establishing legal paternity, locating noncustodial parents' addresses and employers, and establishing child and medical support orders. It also enforces support for married, separated and divorced parents and modifies support orders. The Oklahoma Department of Human Services also offers various support programs for the elderly and people with disabilities.
