Collinsville is a city in Rogers and Tulsa counties in the U.S. state of Oklahoma, and a part of the Tulsa, Oklahoma Metropolitan Statistical Area. It was named for Dr. A. H. Collins, an engineer and surveyor who first surveyed the land that became this community. The population was 5,606 according to the 2010 census, compared to 4,077 at the 2000 census.
Collinsville is located at 36°22?2?N 95°50?23?W / 36.36722°N 95.83972°W / 36.36722; -95.83972 (36.367166, -95.839736). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 6.0 square miles (15.5 km²), of which, 5.9 square miles (15.4 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.2 km²) of it (1.17%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 4,077 people, 1,550 households, and 1,112 families residing in the city. The population density was 687.9 people per square mile (265.5/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 82.95% White, 0.37% African American, 8.85% Native American, 0.39% Asian, 0.10% Pacific Islander, 0.34% from other races, and 6.99% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.72% of the population.
