Founded in 1966, the Chisholm Trail Museum's mission is to collect, preserve, and share the history and culture of Oklahoma's innovative spirit, commerce, trade, and industry.

The Chisholm Trail Museum in Kingfisher is located along the historic Chisholm Trail, once one of the greatest cattle trails in the world. Stop by to learn about the history of the trail and explore. The Museum features exhibits on cattle drives, farming, ranching, commerce, industry, and more. Horizon Hill, home to the Territorial Governor Abraham Jefferson Seay, is located across the street and is included in your admission to the museum.
