Bhakti (Pure devotion) / Yoga (to connect) Bhakti is an ancient and timeless practice of divine connection to the Source, which proves to aid any individual in their journey towards spiritual Truth. Bhakti Yoga Tulsa is a local community of Bhakti practitioners who hope to help others in their spiritual enlivenment. There are new programs every week, most popular being Wednesday night 6pm-8pm hosted in a yoga studio minutes from downtown. Here's what one can anticipate on Wednesday night: -Philosophical discourse (Hari katha) by a new speaker weekly -Maha-mantra meditation (Harinam Sankirtan) accompanied by instruments of different styles, and led by a new practitioner weekly. -Gourmet sanctified vegetarian/vegan feast (Prasadam) that is diverse in culture every week. -And an array ancient books on topics such as: meditation, philosophy, yoga, science, and even cooking. Many books contain their original Sanskrit text, transliteration, and translation. Bhakti Yoga Tulsa runs on inspiration from all the wonderful people who attend, and by the satisfaction of service alone. These programs are offered to all people of genders, races, identities, social groups, interests, backgrounds, you name it. Bhakti yoga goes deeper than the external layers of the mundane.
