History
Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) of Bartlesville was started by two individuals who were rescuing abandoned animals in our community. They wanted to make a difference in the lives of animals by taking care of them until new homes could be found. Others soon wanted to help and ARF was born! ARF's dream of building a rescue/adoption sanctuary for abandoned animals is now a reality. Those who are never adopted can live out a happy life with others of their own kind with food, water, shelter and love. We now own 18 acres that includes our rescue/adoption sanctuary and a 5 acre membership dog park ARF Park. We are working on fundraising donations for final phase construction of our dog adoption, vet and grooming areas. ARF exists by donations from the public and private foundations. We do not receive assistance from the City, State or Federal Government. We are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit volunteer organization.
