Located in Smithville, Ohio, Wayne County Schools Career Center is a vocational school that offers more than 30 career preparation programs, and technology and college preparatory academic programs. Founded in 1969, it serves more than 900 students from Wayne County s schools. The center s courses includes English, social studies, mathematics, science, physiology, biology, chemistry, environmental science, physics, horticulture, carpentry, cosmetology and criminal justice. Its part-time programs include engineering technologies, exercise science and sports medicine, computer networking, interactive media, medical office management and business operations.
