Established in 1811, Union Township is a community on the outskirts of Cincinnati, Ohio located along the Ohio 32 and Interstate 275 corridor in northwestern Clermont County. It has a population of approximately 44,000 with an estimated median income of $52,172 according to the 2007 U.S. Census Bureau American Fact Finder. Some of the services offered by Union Township are effectively managing roads, parks, recreation and the Mt. Moriah cemetery. Its civic center is home to the Union Township Board of Trustees and administrative services, the West Clermont local school district administrative offices, a U.S. Post Office, a branch of the Clermont Senior Services, six public meeting rooms, a gymnasium and an amphitheatre. Union Township also operates and maintains the Veteran's Memorial Park, Clepper Park, Ivy Point Park and Mt. Carmel Park.
