The Ohio Farm Bureau Federation is a private, dues-paying organization. The organization unites more than 80 county farm bureaus that represent the 88 counties of Ohio. The federation represents the interests of its members to state and local governments and regulatory agencies. Ohio Farm Bureau Federation members serve on boards and committees that work on legislation, regulations and issues that impact agriculture, rural areas and Ohio residents. The federation is governed by a board of trustees, which is elected by delegates from member organizations. Ohio Farm Bureau Federation has more than 225,000 members. The federation is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio.
