The Stow Fire Department is responsible for providing fire prevention, inspection, suppression and rescue services. The fire department also conducts a public safety educational program in schools and local businesses. Established in 1934, the Stow Fire Department employs part- and full-time employees, as well as volunteers. Its stations maintain gear, tool, dining and training rooms. The fire department also maintains facilities for air tank repair and equipment decontamination. It serves more than 32,000 residents and employs a team of firefighters and paramedics. Additionally, the fire department conducts controlled house burn and trench and rescue training services. The Stow Fire Department is located in Stow, Ohio.
