Founded in 1946 by respected Philadelphia art community member John Hussian, Hussian College initially offered a curriculum encompassing both Commercial and Fine Arts. Over the years, the institution evolved to focus solely on Commercial Art, gaining national accreditation and expanding to offer a variety of degree programs in art, acting, film, digital content, and more.
With a history of growth and professional recognition, Hussian College continued to innovate by incorporating digital media courses and the latest technology into its offerings. In 2018, the college merged with Daymar College campuses, adding over 20 new degree and credential programs before ultimately making the decision to permanently close in June 2023 and transition active students to partner institutions.
