Dr. Santosh Kale is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive microsurgeon who specializes in breast reconstruction (implant and tissue-based), aesthetic breast surgery, body contouring, lymphedema, general reconstruction, and gender confirmation surgeries. Dr. Kale is fully skilled in the advanced microsurgery techniques of the breast, extremities, trunk, and head and neck. As one of the leading experts in the Midwest, he regularly comes to the aid of over 200 patients every year. Dr. Kale completed his education and training at some of the worlds most prestigious institutions. He completed his undergraduate degree in both Economics and Chemistry at Cornell University, and graduated Magna Cum Laude and was on the Deans List. After graduating from Cornell, he attended the University of Illinois for Medical and Business School and graduated as a James Scholar. During medical school, he found his passion for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Kale would go on to complete his residency training at Washington University in St. Louis and a reconstructive and microsurgery fellowship at The Ohio State University. While at Ohio State, Dr. Kale trained under Dr. Kocak and Dr. Tiwari.
