The Athenaeum of Ohio offers professional degree programs in theology and is sponsored by Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cincinnati. It prepares people to serve the Roman Catholic Church as priests, deacons and lay ministers. The school maintains various divisions that include Mount St. Mary's Seminary of the West, the Lay Pastoral Ministry Program and the Special Studies Division.
