Founded in 1916, Ohio Reformatory for Women works with a team of more than 470 staff members. It administers Therapeutic Community, which is a long-term residential Alcohol and Other Drug treatment program. The agency also has a short term offender unit designed to service offenders. Ohio Reformatory for Women is owned and operated by the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. The department maintains a Legal Services Division that provides services for over 30 full-service adult correctional facilities. It conducts several rehabilitative and restorative programs.
