The Ohio Youth Ballet is an elite, pre-professional dance company located in Northeast Ohio. Our members train at Natalya's Turning Pointe School of Dance in Canal Fulton. This remarkable and unique non-profit organization provides trained dancers from ages 8-20 the opportunity to receive advanced intensive training along with the opportunity to perform and share the love of dance with local communities. The Ohio Youth Ballet's mission of "Bringing Dance to the People" strives to educate and entertain community members at area festivals, schools, libraries, shopping centers, nursing homes and more. Students of The Ohio Youth Ballet train under the artistic direction of Natalya Vyashenko-Connor and Dominic Moore. Mrs. Vyashenko-Connor is a former dancer with the Alisher Navoi Great Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Tashkent in the capital of Uzbekistan. She has a degree in Choreography, Director of Ballet-Master Teacher of Classical Ballet. Mr. Moore has danced with Edgeworks Dance Theater in Washington D.C. and is pursing a degree in dance from the University of Akron. Many Ohio Youth Ballet members have gone on to join professional dance companies, win prestigious competitions, and have received college scholarships in dance, musical theater, and other fields of dance. Others can be seen on Broadway, regional theater, MTV videos, and more. Pre-Professional Dance Team: Dance training in several dance disciplines tailored to each dancer's personal goals.
