Established in 1992, the MetroHealth Center for Community Health is a part of The MetroHealth System, which has been serving the medical needs of the Greater Cleveland community for more than 165 years. The center employs over 350 people and practices in the fields of cardiology, gynecology, dermatology, neurology and nephrology. It operates the MetroHealth Broadway Health Center and the MetroHealth Buckeye Health Center, which provide X-ray, mammography and ultrasound services. The MetroHealth Center for Community Health administers a chronic disease management program for patients with diabetes and asthma-related problems. In addition, the center sponsors a senior forum program that includes educational and outreach services for seniors. Its health centers offer family medicine and behavioral counseling services.
