Meadow View Growers Inc will exceed the expectations of our customers and employees by enhancing the environment where we live and work. Meadow View is a family business committed to producing the finest quality plants. The 40 ( 80, 000SF ) greenhouse structures are located just south of New New Carlisle OH, a small town north of Dayton. The business began in the fall of 1984 when a cornfield was converted to greenhouse structures. Today Meadow View is one of the premiere horticultural businesses in the Dayton area. It is a destination where the inexperienced as well as the seasoned gardener can purchase the highest quality and not-so-common varieties of annual bedding plants, perennials, vegetables & herbs, fall flowering garden mums, and poinsettias. In early 2008 we added to the family, when we broke ground on a new state-of-the-art 24, 000 square foot greenhouse. It features cutting edge technology that enables us to replace older, less energy efficient greenhouses and add slightly more capacity. In the spring of 1995 the Garden Barn, a distinctive store for the serious and discriminating gardener, came into existence to offer unique and unusual gardening related collectibles and gifts. There is something for everyone in the Garden Barn. The atmosphere changes with the seasons and ends the year with a gathering of decorations, gift items, arrangements and everything that goes with Christmas. Meadow View specializes in hard to find selections, whether it's plants or the collection from the Garden Barn. The variety of new plants including annuals, perennials and herbs has set the company apart from other businesses in the area. The Meadow View team is committed to excellence in products and service. Most team members are avid gardeners and very knowledgeable and caring people. A recent collective summary of professional experience on staff exceeded 350 years. They enjoy using their experience as they grow your plants and sharing their expertise as they serve our customers. Abby is the newest member of the team, and has worked in the Green Industry for 10 years. She is a graduate from Otterbein College and has a degree in plant biology. She enjoys container gardening and miniature evergreens. When not gardening she enjoys making pottery, playing with her dog, and doing home improvement projects with her husband. Perennial Sales Associate Alice graduated from Michigan State University in Landscape & Nursery Management. She has over 30 years experience in the landscape and grounds maintenance fields. She is married and has two adult daughters. She loves to camp, do crafts, play hand bells and is involved in church activities. Anne, co-owner of Meadow View, is responsible for wholesale sales and crop scheduling along with financial aspects of the business. Anne and her husband, Brian have 2 daughters and loves music, sudoku, crossword puzzles, reading, scrap booking and travel. Her favorite spot is Princess Cays in the Caribbean. Barb directs Meadow View's Contain Yourself area, a do-it-yourself container design and plant program. Her goal is to take the fear out of gardening. When not in the retail area, she is a jack of all trades-helping with fall school field trips, wholesale poinsettia sales, planting and production and pulling orders for winter shipment. You might see her anywhere. She is a former high school English teacher who during a midlife crisis switched careers and retrained in horticulture. Her interests range from soduku to gardening to bicycling. When there's time and money, she loves traveling and the theater. Brenda has been a part of the Meadow View team since 1990 and is responsible for customer service, personnel, and accounting aspects of the business. Many of you remember seeing her in the sales area regularly, and now talk with her when you call. She likes to spend time with her granddaughter, create mixed container gardens, tend to her flowers at home, and work with children in church mentoring pr
