Founded in 1916, Kurz-Kasch is a processor of engineered composite materials, primarily thermoset plastics. It is a manufacturer of conventional and encapsulated coils and stators; engineered composite components and subassemblies; magnetic, electrical, electronic sensing devices; and high performance solenoids. Its capabilities include precision coil winding, computer-aided coil design, advanced wire joining technologies, thermoplastic insert molding and automated electrical testing. Additionally, its capabilities include tool and machine design, automated assembly, precision machining, laser and ink marking and coordinate measurement machines. It molds whole door panels, automotive body panels, and precision automotive, aerospace and electrical components. Its winding equipment includes multihead bobbin coil winding machines, and custom designed coil winding and forming equipment. Its termination processes include crimping, heat soldering, reflow soldering, flame soldering, resistance welding, plasma arc welding, brazing, insulation displacement and wire bonding.
