Established in 1989, Kobelco Stewart Bolling combines more than a century of experience from two world-leading equipment design and process management companies. Kobe Steel began in 1905 as a manufacturer of castings and forgings. The Stewart Bolling Company was organized in 1923 as a rebuilder of primary processing machinery for the rubber industry. With the merger of these two organizations, KSBI offers a variety of products and services, including the design and fabrication of industrial and construction machinery, plant engineering and technical assistance. It also offers raw materials as well as finished and semi-finished ferrous and nonferrous metal products. KSBI produces most of its machinery for the tire, rubber and plastics industries. The company maintains its headquarters in Hudson, Ohio.
